As others have said, it's not Vegas and they don't have any dice games in Oklahoma. The south casino is a bit worn down and the north side has much better ventilation if the smoke in a casino bothers you as it does me. The south side casino is the original and the north side was just built in the last few years and it shows. The resort has a north and south casino but I didn't realize that until we were about ready to leave.
We stayed at the motel which is adjacent to the casino but within walking distance and they also have a shuttle. That being said, the resort is a nice place. I've seen too many photos of hotel rooms that never have looked like the picture in person. Since it was a first time trip and totally booked online I didn't have unreal expectations. We went to see a show in the Events Center but did spend some time in the gaming areas. Let me start by saying that I didn't go to the Choctaw Casino expressly to gamble.
